The layout of the controller mirrors that of Serato DJ Intro, so getting hands on is quick and easy. The Pioneer DDJ-SB has been designed to work with Serato DJ Intro and Serato DJ (purchasable online). Combining these two features onto one fader leaves the DJ with a spare hand to control triggering Samples, Loops and Cues. So for the first time ever the controllers crossfader will control volume as well as cutting bass frequencies. This new feature from Pioneer adds a High Pass filter to the crossfader. The Parameter can be easily controlled using the single Level/Depth dial.įor the first time on a DJ controller we see the function Filter Fade.
